Is the 1970 retro short-sleeve only?
Yes for historical accuracy. The 1970 shirt was short-sleeve in tournament use; there was no long-sleeve variant produced. Some unofficial 'commemorative' editions in the 1990s added long-sleeve, but those aren't faithful to the original. Our reproduction is short-sleeve, period.
Three stars or two stars on the crest?
Three stars. The 1970 World Cup was won wearing the two-star shirt, and the third star was added immediately after to commemorate. Most collectors want the three-star version because it reflects what the shirt represented after the tournament. We do offer the two-star in-tournament version as a custom press; ask in WhatsApp.
What's the fabric? It's not modern Vapor.
Vintage cotton-poly blend, slightly heavier than modern Nike Vapor. The factory we use sources fabric specifically for 1970s and 1980s retro reproductions — a different supply chain than the modern Vapor stock. The hand-feel is closer to a 1990 Brazil shirt than a 2024 one. That's intentional and desired by collectors.

Will the colour fade over time?
The yellow on 1970 reproductions tends to deepen rather than fade — vintage cotton-poly has different ageing behaviour than modern synthetic. After 2–3 years of regular wear, the yellow becomes slightly more amber. Most collectors consider this a feature, not a bug.
