Same Aztec print. Same Aguirre black. Same 11 verified factories. Cut for the female silhouette.
Women's-fit national team jerseys exist as a real product line at Adidas, Nike, and Puma — not as marketing — but they're chronically underdistributed. Most retail allocations are 70-80% men's fit. For a kit like Mexico's that's already in short supply at adidas.com (the closest licensed retailer ranks position 38 for "mexico jersey", a clear allocation gap), the women's variant is structurally even harder to find. The Putian workshops we coordinate with run both fits — same pattern files, same fabric, same Aztec print on the chest, just cut for a different silhouette.
The women's fit we coordinate is tailored from the standard men's pattern with three changes: (1) the waist is tapered 3-4 cm narrower than the men's at the same chest measurement, (2) the overall length is shortened by 4 cm so the hem sits at the natural waist rather than over the hips, and (3) the neckline is a softer scoop instead of the men's V-neck. The sleeves remain the same length and width — most women buyers prefer this rather than slimmer sleeves which restrict arm motion. Heat-bonded crest, sublimated numbers, all the same construction.

Sizing — why XS through XL covers most women buyers
The women's fit runs in XS, S, M, L, XL. About 65% of orders are S or M; 20% L; 10% XS; 5% XL. The XL women's fit is roughly equivalent to a M men's at chest measurement, with the female-silhouette tapering. Buyers who prefer a baggier oversized fit (currently the most popular look on TikTok) typically order the men's fit one size up — that's a separate decision; tell us on WhatsApp which fit you want.
The fabric is identical to the men's fan version (180 g/m² standard polyester knit) on the $30 fan; the AAA at $45 uses the engineered-mesh fabric with the same female cut. The breathability difference between fan and AAA is the same as on men's — about 40% better moisture-wicking on AAA, mostly relevant for active wear.
About 4% of our Mexico orders are women's fit
This is structurally lower than market potential — men's-fit jerseys are perceived as the default, and many female buyers default to a men's fit they've outgrown the awareness of as a male-default. We mention it explicitly because the structural mismatch (under-represented in licensed retail, equally available in Putian production) makes the women's fit a real value here.
